Always churning out frequent consistency in their releases is of course Se-Lek Music. At the latest release lives up to the level you expect coming out of their stable. The latest EP comes from Pad One from Italy and is name Borderline / Creeps. On remix duties on this release comes from 2 really big stars at the moment in Blue Amazon, and Nico Cabeza.

Borderline (Original) really is a journey with tight percussion and atmospheric elements throughout. It has a nice synth throughout without being in your face, giving the track a nice melodic groove through to finish.

Borderline (Nico Cabeza Remix) slow building intro from this maestro into a relaxing breakdown which grabs you like the house being blown away in the wizard of oz into another reality. Don’t expect big room sounds just tight percussion and bass lines. This remix is more of a minimal take on the original but really does hit the spot quite nicely.

Creeps (Original) another subtle affair with the sound you can have came to expect from Pad One now, as in rhythmic basslines and to the point synth lines. This track makes good of effects and vox throughout to give the track some great dynamic.

Creeps (Blue Amazon Remix) for me this is the best track on the release, of course this is relative to the sound I like and this has more energy than the original (although the original is still a great track).  Expect the usual energetic bass lines and fx you may be accustomed to from Blue Amazon, and of course some good layers of groove mixed in smoothly with the vox
