DaGeneral is a name that is becoming familiar on the music scene at the moment with his own fusion of sounds that embrace influences from house, techno, electronica and everything else in between to bring us his own unique signature style.

Here we look at his release on super stylish New York label, Nylo Music, entitled The Stag E.P. which is a two tracker which also involves one of DaGeneral’s partners in crime, Bageera, on the remix.

DaGeneral’s original mix delves into his deeper side of music to bring us a luscious organically moving and evolving soundtrack. The track builds with gorgeous deep pad sounds, piano chords and vocal stabs which enthral your mind and makes you reminisce of sun, sand and pina colada’s!

On the remix is the usual suspects of DaGeneral and Bageera. The remix centres more on the piano chords from the original. If you can imagine the sun rising at the beach, then this is where the remix takes you. It offers a more laid back vibe from the peak time sounds of the original.

All in all this is a fantastic release which is set to be a surefire hit on the dancefloors the world over. A must for music fans who love to add a bit of happy sunny vibes to their mix!!
