If like myself you find it hard to drag ya arse out sometimes knowing full well you’ll face yet another drawn out night sponsored by the  Black Tee brigade and that super unimaginative brand of confused Techno they keep informing everyone is underground and fancy a nod to something outside the oh so tired retro thing then read on………

   April 15 @ The Well, Dublin sees the Plump DJs return to the Emerald Isle for the first since there show stopping appearance at Electric Picnic which is an outrage in itself.

I mean come on peeps, is Elastic Breaks one of mixmags greatest cover mixes???.

   Ive been fortunate to  play with the Plumps over in Europe so I tracked down Lee Rous and with a proffered flask of tea and a well worn tartan blanket I wheeled him down memory lane and prompted images from those Irish dates.

If you truly want to understand the definition of the word craic , you have go to a party in Ireland. Playing at the very first Picnic ever was something we’ll never forget….what a crowd!”
