Rave the Planet: Berlin’s Techno Heritage Celebration

For the third consecutive summer, Berlin will be transformed into the epicenter for ravers worldwide.

The event, “Rave The Planet,” carries on the legacy of Loveparade and is led by the legendary Dr. Motte. Since the post-Covid era, Rave The Planet has gained attraction with last year’s event estimated to have 300,000 fans raving under the motto “Music Is The Answer.” This proves that the festival is more than just music; it’s a vibrant protest powered by Electronic Dance Music. This cultural impact is one of the reasons Berlin has finally achieved recognition on the UNESCO cultural heritage list, highlighting Techno music’s global influence.

It’s worth noting that Dr. Motte seems to be a great team leader in organizing a hard mission like this. The upcoming parade will be held on August 17th and it will be free – calling an influx of ravers to celebrate the Techno scene recognition from UNESCO. In line with the parade’s unifying message, the official anthem release is titled “Love Is Strong,” produced by Dr. Motte, Westbam/ML, and Tom Wax. These icons bring their unique expertise and passion for the genre to create something truly special.

Emerging from joint studio sessions, these tracks evolved into distinct paths, each reflecting the personal style and vision of its creators. The result? Two heart-pounding tracks that pulse like twin heart chambers for the “Rave The Planet” Parade.

The Dr. Motte & Tom Wax mix, expertly mastered by Perla Audio, features powerful spoken word elements, expansive pads, and a fast-paced 137 BPM Techno kick drum. On the flip side, the Westbam/ML interpretation shines with catchy arpeggios, old-school beats, and soulful vocals, offering a fresh yet nostalgic vibe.
