Kelly-O, renowned for her Cappella fame during the 1993-94 period and a former SL2 dancer, has an illustrious history in the rave scene.

Her journey began as a dancer for the legendary SL2, a name synonymous with classic rave anthems like “DJs Take Control,” “On A Ragga Tip,” and “Way in My Brain.” This success catapulted her to prominence and led to her joining the Eurodance act Cappella. After a successful audition, she became the voice behind some of their biggest hits, including “U Got 2 Know,” “U Got 2 Let the Music,” “Move on Baby,” “U and Me,” and “Move it Up,” all of which topped charts in over 30 countries.

Today, Kelly-O is excited to pay homage to the good old rave days by recording new tracks. Her first release, “Take Me Away,” holds special significance for her. As she recalls,

“This track is the first track I remember completely possessing me. Then something amazing happened. Slipmatt said he would like to do this.”

Her good friend from SL2 and the Godfather of Rave, Slipmatt, has made a special takeover remix, honoring Kelly-O and the old-school era. His joyful remix of “Take Me Away” brings boundless energy and nostalgia, resonating with fans of the original rave scene.
