Artist – FFF

Title – Answers/Temperature’s Rising
Label – Straight Up Breakbeat
Cat. – SUBB9608

Following the immense success of DJ Sofa’s ‘Zion Gates’ EP, the Helsinki based label Straight Up Breakbeat returns with a serious 2-tracker introducing the new sounds of the Dutch superhero FFF. These are two odd tunes of ‘hybrid hardcore’ as officially described; they are perfectly matched together, clean and powerful.

Crossing the streets of Jungle, Footwork, and a bit of Rotterdam, this record gives a heavyweight pleasure to the listener. You can definitely find all the right Answers inside this frenzy plate in case you are still hesitating.

Artist – We Rob Rave, Wrritalin

Title – The Wrritalin EP
Label – Hyperdome

Cat. – HYPWAX002

This is the dopest joint of this summer. We Rob Rave from Poland meet the UK don rrritalin. Who has ever thought of that? Probably a lot of the fans in their dreams and then came Hyperdome to make it happen. Four crankers among a remix by Samurai Breaks and boom! The second offering from the label is even bigger than their debut with Andrew Juke. A.I. seems to be completely baffled in the most mutant moment of the year.

Artist – Alex Jungle
Title – Lonely Star (Part 2)
Label – Kniteforce Records
Cat. – KF174

Alex Jungle is at the moment the proudest export of the German Hardcore Breaks scene along with Z-Neo, TNO Project and of course not to forget Systec (and the legendary Dragon Technicals). ‘Lonely Star’ is a trilogy of EPs, but the second part is just remarkable – an example of competence. Alex Jungle doesn’t pump his brakes. He drops pianos, female dreamy vocals and most of all his tracks are very emotive through this combo. You can easily get to know how a German producer plays with the classic ’92 British Hardcore. Is it a new subgenre? Probably not. But it’s something that speaks directly inside the soul of a hardcore raver. You’ll see what I mean…

Artist – Skooler & Flare
Title – 12 Bells EP
Label – Amen Brother
Cat. – AB-VFS024

This UK trio are aged almost three years old, but they have been on fire since day one. The mighty Brent Aquasky knows that well, so he has instantly sign them on Amen Brother, sub-label of Vinyl Fanatiks. This is just a little proof of their aspiring and hard work and a big promise for the future of the uplifting dance music that they follow. In fact, Skooler & Flare have made one of the greatest records within the scene; their first out of many that will certainly follow.

Likewise with their unique and energetic performances, because the scene needs live acts like them or Try Unity to bring something fresh and contemporary to watch.

Artist – Various Artists
Title – Incredible Hypnotic Music Mini LP
Label – Eden Hardcore
Cat. – EDEN005

La Hardcore Breaks fiesta! This Vinyl is a 100% Spanish temptation. A fabulous work sorted by some of the leading players of Spanish Hardcore Breaks such as Bennasar, Peejay, Raving Overdose Productions, Hardcore Conspiracy and Michy, it can be proved again that Spain has a very strong team within the scene.
Eden Hardcore is based in Tenerife, one of the capitals of Nu-Rave and the idea of this release was a mini LP of retro style oldskool breakbeat. In fact, mission accomplished muchachos y muchachas!
